into the heavens.
Our sense of smell, the most
primordial of our senses, reaches beyond the rational
to move us in inexplicable ways, opening to us a world

Triloka Himalayan Botanicals™
The art of preparing Tibetan
Incense dates back to the 7th Century.
This craft continues to flourish in Tibetan monasteries in Nepal,
India, and Bhutan, with the same high regard for the sanctity of
the process and purpose. Himalayan herbs, woods and spices
are blended, pressed and dried into a long stick. Unlike Indian
incense, no bamboo stick is used. Tibetan incense has a range
of fragrances that are herbal, woody, spicy, but never sweet or
perfumed.
The label paper is made from the excess bark of the Lokta
bush and is handmade with an age old process from the high
Himalayas. No chemicals used. Environmentally friendly.

to the long tradition of family
cottage industries in the Himalayas. Almost all young

High quality aromatic medicinal herbs are gathered and
dried. Herbs used have fumigation qualities and purify
the atmosphere when burned. Lokta paper made from
the Daphne bush is used to contain the herbs. The
herbal blend is placed in the paper and given an artistic
twist. No chemicals used. Environmentally friendly.

Triloka Herbal Coals™
Since ancient times cultures
throughout the world have
recognized that many natural substances have purifying
or healing attributes when burned. The burning of 'dhoops'
or botanical mixtures, was a daily ritual performed mainly
at sunrise and sunset. Since virtually all households
made daily fires, hot coals were already available. The
hot coals were put into an urn or censor and used for
burning herbs, woods or resins. The botanicals would
slowly smolder, releasing their fragrance and subtle
qualities. Triloka Herbal Dhoop Coals are made from
dried herbs and woods. No chemicals or harmful
additives are used. The label is hand printed on
handmade paper following a centuries old tradition.
Directions:
Break off a piece of dhoop coal, and hold
with one hand while lighting the opposite corner until
it flames. Allow the coal to flame until a portion is hot
enough to smolder. A steady stream of smoke will
rise. Place the coal in a fireproof urn, censor, or on
top of a pot of sand. Place a portion of frankincense
or other ingredients on top of the coal. Both will
slowly smolder. Caution: Keep burning coals
away from children and animals. Do not leave
unattended.
