As the Celtic people moved west into Africa from Crete, they came under a strong
Christian influence.  They moved north through Spain, France and on into England,
Wales, Ireland and Scotland, spreading with them their understandings of God as a
trinity over all things.  Hence, triangles and sets of three being prevalent in their art, 
along with their understanding of the Earth and the world in which they lived.

The Dragon is a symbol of stability and power as well as a protector of the Cross.
The Red Dragon is, to this day, the national emblem of the Welsh people.
The Celtic People left behind a myriad of art in many forms, along with great
legends of a people constantly on the move.  The intricate nature of Celtic
carvings and castings show a mastery of geometry and craftsmanship
